"Alpha Kappa Psi is recognized as the premier developer of principled business leaders"

Alpha Kappa Psi was founded on the principles of educating the public to appreciate and demand higher ideals in business and to further the individual welfare of its members during college and beyond. Today, these objectives are as strong and alive as ever. AKPsi is much more than just another organization; it is a unique, prestigious association of students, professors, graduates, and professionals with common experiences and goals. AKPsi is a brotherhood that means many different things to different people, but all members share the fraternity's vision: "Alpha Kappa Psi is recognized as the premier developer of principled business leaders."

Our fraternity offers outstanding opportunities for both professional preparation and for personal growth. The way to perfect these skills is through application and practice, and Alpha Kappa Psi prides itself on preparing its members for success in the professional environment.

Ari Swerling, Operations Business Analyst at Gemalto, Baltimore MD                                                       Epsilon Class, Spring 2014                                                                                                                           "Alpha Kappa Psi offers something most students have never had throughout their lives: a safe place to fail. Here you are among friends - brothers - who inspire and encourage each other every day to learn and grow, not for their own sake, but for the sake of something larger than any one person. During my tenure as a student I wanted to create change in our chapter, change to improve what Alpha Kappa Psi brought to the brothers and UD community. I developed a vision, put a plan in place, and went at it with everything I had. There were many bumps along the way, but the brothers saw dedication and supported me through the good times and bad. We learned from the mistakes, built upon the successes, and soon enough "my vision" became "our vision." Today in every aspect of my work life, I think back to my AKPsi experience; it reminds me not just how to get the job done, but why I get the job done."

Tyler Frees, Fixed Income Settlements at JPMorgan Chase, Newark DE                                                         Eta Class, Spring 2016                                                                                                                                  "Alpha Kappa Psi is recognized as the premier developer of principled business leaders." This vision statement truly defines Alpha Kappa Psi to me. We are Alpha Kappa Psi. We are a group of almost 300,000 brothers. Brothers in business and brothers in life. 300,000 people we know in this world who will work hard, support you, and lead you to be the best person and business person you can be. I joined Alpha Kappa Psi for friendship and brotherhood. I will leave as a principled business leader with an immense network of friends and brothers, now one in the same. Alpha Kappa Psi has given me the confidence and ability to lead and be the best I can be."
